Northallan exhibited at the itSMF Annual Conference and Exhibition at the Brighton Metropole, from 10th to 12th November 2003.

Northallan chose to visit the event once again due to its popularity with Customers, Exhibitors and Seminar presenters alike.    We considered our attendance so successful that for this year's event we became sponsors.

At the 2002 event at the same venue, we demonstrated SMART, our powerful assessment tool (typically used for ITIL, BS15000 and ISO9000 assessments), and found good levels of interest in BS15000 assessment profiles.    This was encouraging considering that the Standard was in its early days, and indeed was not formally launched until July 2003.

This year, in excess of 100 visitors took up the offer of an extended presentation, and many also took up the offer of a short assessment, with varying results !     The general agreement was that BS15000 is with us to stay, and that indeed many organisations seeking responses to tenders and RFI's are quoting BS15000 as required knowledge from respondees (this despite most organisations being unaware of its content !)

Northallan continue to offer a free initial assessment service comprising a half day consultancy session with an assessment provided using our SMART software.
